Ascension Christian High exists because of the belief that Christian parents should have the opportunity to give their child a quality education based on the Word of God. Our school views itself as a ministry of the Household of Faith and seeks to reach the world for Christ.
Ascension Christian High believes each student is an individual creation of a loving God. Our programs are designed to provide skills that enable students to become valuable and productive individuals within society. Each student has individual strengths, which we strive to develop through our various educational programs. The total program is a balanced curriculum in the intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual areas. We believe that man’s understanding of himself and others as well as his relationship with God and his fellow man are a reflection of this balance.
Ascension Christian High is committed to providing an atmosphere conducive to learning that will motivate student interest in the development of skills, habits, and attitudes necessary to be an effective learner. Additionally, we want to assist each student to develop good decision making, problem solving and communication skills. In the development of these important tools we emphasize the purposes of God, and we acknowledge that the primary objective of man is to glorify God in all things.
Finally, it is our ultimate objective to present Jesus Christ as Savior, and to show His love to all students and their parents. Our aim is that each student and his family will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. |
